Devon Town House

Our client’s design brief was to create a comfortable living environment that flowed throughout and that incorporated subtle lighting accents. This large Edwardian town house displayed many typical features of the time and the client wanted to achieve a modern, uncluttered environment that would sit well with the original features. Our brief was to also incorporate built in storage where possible. This was achieved by designing bespoke joinery in the sitting room, bedrooms and bathrooms and with the clever use of recessed lighting behind built-in shelves and suspended ceilings the lighting scheme followed the brief.

A grey smoked oak flooring was laid throughout the ground floor and a bespoke large rug was made for the sitting room to offer comfort and a touch of luxury. The bathrooms were designed to be a place to indulge and under floor heating was included along with accent lighting behind the bath to illuminate the feature textured wall. A range of modern oriental style furniture completed the look.
